Web Design Intern (San Francisco, CA)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and produce microsites with guidance from senior designers
- Design and produce marketing banners and landing pages for real world clients
- Work with Social Media marketing manager to research and produce campaigns for Facebook
- Organize and archive creative source files, stock photography, HTML / CSS code libraries
Web Project Manager (San Francisco, CA)
- Work with the media and marketing team to translate new project ideas into clear requests for the engineering and creative teams
- Define project goals. Set project timelines based on resources and priorities
- Rally the team behind your project, discuss the project plan and “kick off” the project
- Manage the project processes between your team members and ensure that the project is moving according to your plan, and the overall roadmap
- Deal with roadblocks, bugs and competing projects to keep the creative and engineering queues flowing smoothly
- Be the point of contact for all project-related questions and requests

Learn real world web design and hone your creative eye as a Web Design Intern at Tightrope Interactive!
We are looking for Web Design Interns to help us design and produce web sites. This is an paid entry-level position that is well suited for new college graduates with 0-2 years of experience. Interns are paid $15 per hour. The internship can be either full-time (up to 40 hours/wk) or part-time (at least 20 hours/wk) based on your preference. Interns who perform well during the 3-month internship will have the opportunity to pursue a full-time, salaried position with Tightrope.
Tightrope Interactive is an online, performance-based marketing firm headquartered in downtown San Francisco (short walk from Montgomery BART). We create stellar web sites and online advertising campaigns that just “work”. We are looking for talented and ambitious interns to assist our in-house designers with day-to-day design and production.
Duties and Responsibilities

Tightrope Interactive’s downtown San Francisco office is seeking a full-time, smart and enthusiastic project manager for our lead generation business unit that’s primarily focused on the higher education market. In the role of project manager you will be challenged with multiple software and online media-based projects, which may have their own goals, obstacles and potential solutions. Under supervision of the Director of Product Management you will:
- Work with the media and marketing team to translate new project ideas into clear requests for the engineering and creative teams

Requirements

- Experience managing web design projects (e.g. sites, landing pages, Facebook pages), and web application development projects (e.g. internal tools, third-party web service and XML integrations, Facebook apps) that target multiple desktop and mobile browsers and operating systems
- Familiarity with CMS such as WordPress, and WP plug-ins
- Basic web troubleshooting skills (e.g. diagnose why tracking in HTML isn’t working), and image manipulation skills (e.g. resize a bitmap optimized for the web)
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, and Excel
- A discerning eye that is able to view, digest and help improve page and site design based on quantitative data
- Must be able to identify and resolve potential issues early on before they halt your project
- Knowledge of Scrum or similar Agile SDLC processes
